My name is Fleming Slone, and I’m a software engineer in Atlanta, GA.

Over the last 20 years I’ve worked with industry leaders to build digital products that wow customers. I also started the website PlantGuideOnline.com in 2011 to make USDA information more accessible for gardeners and amateur biologists.

When I’m not programming, I enjoy volunteering in my community and working to address the effects of income inequality. I’m a two time recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award from the White House, as well as the Daily Point of Light Award from Points of Light.
